Are you organised???

I like to pretend that in order to have a good class class environment, you don't need to be patient, you just need to be organised. If you are not, your students will organise you. Even truer with a student with ASD. They know what they want and your...

DAY 1: integration successful or not!

Just try to have a conversation in a subway, when it is rush hour and your partner is on the other side of the track. Try to focus on what you read when it seems there is a firework coming out of your book. Try to register some new informations when there...

Day 0

I have found memories of my students on the spectrum. They taught me so much. First, my own limitations. Also that they are all different just like you and me. There is no perfect recipe for integration but your own degree of preparation and acceptance....

Why a blog??

I have been teaching French immersion in an elementary school forever and have been integrating students with ASD at least for the past 18 years ( before, I just did not know they were on the spectrum Lol) I went to the Miriam Centre for my TEACCH training...
