Allowing the differences.
I always advocated for differences. Probably because it exists and that human being rationalises everything by associating and seeing similarities ... and differences.
In a regular classroom are all average students the same? No, some are better in math, others in writing, others in reading. They are different, but we do not feel the need to adapt ourselves. I could exactly say the same for strong students and for weaker ones. But if it is a strong group with only a few weaker ones, then we will only see the differences.
And, it becomes more disturbing when we have students on the spectrum. We are expecting the differences even before seeing it. We are worrying that we will have to adapt ourselves. The students are claiming their differences without knowing it. But in fact, WHO does not claim his right to be different?
